Although it is an unpleasant topic, death is a part of our lives. I want to create a service, where we can prepare a letters for our loved ones, in case of our death.
I don't want this to be a replacement for the last will or a "digital last will" - rather a complement to it. The last will is a legal document, dealing with our physical possessions. Farewell Link is meant to be a quickly accessible message, helping and guiding our bereaved during a difficult time.
I am not going to promise any dates when this service will be online - software development is infamous for missing announced release dates.
